I was talking to someone who blew up at me. Normally there would be screenshots, but nevermind that. I pointed out some obvious pattern of behavior and they got defensive, put all kinds of words in my mouth, and misquoted at that. All of which could have been avoided if they had been straight up with the question.
On top of that, I was only wondering and had said so. Oh well, in the end, I had to put this person in check and move along with my night. I don't have time for bullshit like that.
Allow me to tell you, truth be known, I'll say what's on my mind when I want to. I'm not afraid of anyone. I'll tell you what I think most times if I'm asked or if you bother me enough. People that are like "If you have something to say, then say it to me" only to have me call them and say, "I am only going to tell you this once: if I have anything to say to you, I will say it to you. Do not start this nonsense again."
I'm not the one for this BS. I'm really not. Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me tired.
Hey, I don't know how this fits in anywhere, but I just wanted to let you know some things I've been thinking about. "You shall know them by their love for one another." How are we to be the church? "All the commandments and the law can be summed up in these two things: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, strength and mind. And love your neighbor as yourself." We've made things too complicated. It's easy to love our Savior, but hard to love each other. It's important though. May be the most important thing we ever learn. The sooner we get it, the better the rest of our life will be. For whether we endure persecution, famine, hardships, scoffings, relationship troubles, enslavement, torture, and even death, it won't matter if we get that loving one another as Christ's body is probably the most important thing we can do with our life.
ReplyDeleteWe really need this to be a reality. This is where things need to be heading. I don't really know how we're getting there, but I know like everything else in life, it is a one step-one day at a time thing.
I'll write something in for this comment I suppose and you can copy and paste there. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, though.
