I got to the football game well before kickoff, but wasn't able to get in because my siblings had the tickets. I waited until 8:20 to get in the gate; kickoff was 7:30. Do the math. It rained most of that time. I got in the gate and a friend called. I talked to him for most of the game that I watched. I couldn't watch much as I didn't have my glasses.
*shrug*
Shortly after all of this, I went to the hospital and talked to my sis and mom. It was good times. I came back home with a friend that promptly fell asleep. Then I talked to DA for a couple of hours. That time was spent talking about his roommates and this blog and romantic things that he likes to do with his boyfriend. It was really sweet. The last thing I remembered from that conversation was talking about cuddling when it rains. I wonder what it would be like to hold someone outside... in the rain. Mmmmm.....
Talked to Tai for a bit and that was fun. His journey is safe so far (yet cold). I hope he makes it there okay.
Finally, I talked to Momo for a while. We've been online friends for a while, but we've not really had a normal conversation until this week. Those conversations are full of funny, awkward, and just touching moments. We talked for quite sometime today and it was nice. He's a really sweet guy. I watched a vid of him being silly and he really is quite silly at times. It was very enjoyable, too. Since the last time we talked, I sent him a bunch of pictures, he decided to send me a couple today. One was of his iPhone clock because it said "12:34" on it and I liked that time. The other was of this picture here to the left.
Honestly, he's a handsome guy. Funny, before this, we were talking about my icon. My icon is oddly troublesome. Troublesome enough for me to get this pic in return. I don't mind. I like compliments to my looks now and then; this is the first time in my life that I've ever really been remotely confident about them (and I'm not even close to be honest).
Also, I saw some really interesting videos today. They were odd for me, but interesting... not to mention adorable.
Hopefully, he, DA, and Tai will be in contact later today and/or whenever. In the meantime, I'm just chilling at home today. I'm supposed to be at a conference, but I don't have a ride and I'm not walking an hour to get there. After that, I might go to a movie. Again, who knows either way? I don't. Should be fun no matter how it rolls...
...at least, I'm enjoying the passing scenery.
As a final thought, my friend JB and I were talking and noticed that our perceptions on genders in general are changing in small and subtle ways. He's gay and is starting to notice girls in a way that's less than passing observation... interesting...
