Analysis of 21 Days

When I started my journey into minimalism, I took a lot of the steps out of order (steps were suggested over a 21-day period). Most of this is because I had a clear mission in front of me related to my things. It started as a book closet and blossomed into other rooms and emotional areas. That was cool and got other people involved on its tail end.

At the same time, I noticed that Polli, being the person he is, tried to do those steps in order. As such, I decided as he was going through I would see which items I had completed, which ones I had not, and what needed to be done for me to complete them.

Well, here's what I got:
  • list of things i have and how much of those i need
  • write down fears (already journaled, actually, so summarize)
  • i did it and told some of my friends about it, but this was done solo
  • make a list of beliefs
  • list some growth items (must-list)
  • more content with every passing day and loving it
  • i hate selling things, so i donated it all
  • i need a windows-based computer for some of the data; that is in the 6-month budget
  • i got all of the bills i can get completely paperless
  • I LOVE NOT HAVING CABLE. EXTRA $60 EVERY MONTH IS AWESOME
  • i'm a gamer [limited gameplay, however]
  • i listen to music too much to not have speakers lol
  • i already got rid of most of the electronics i don't need, so i'll shed things organically
  • i don't own a car <3
  • i have an apt/condo <3
  • robert kiyosaki impacted me most here years ago, so i don't want to own a house
  • BLINDSIDED HERE, but not completely. i should have known.
  • make lists. i know right now i want to travel more than anything. i also know i won't have this job in 5 years.
  • it will always be a process, but worthwhile
  • i'm introspective by nature. it takes effort not to think.
  • i spend 3/4 of my time outside of work in solitude.
  • truth be known i spend too much time alone.
