good day....

No, it really has been a good day. It was below freezing and I had to walk in the rain to work today after riding the bus forever. I only have seven scheduled hours next week. I almost skipped while at work today. I worked hard, greeted customers, didn't fall asleep (or lack energy at all). Got off a little early, but that's okay.

Caught a ride home with a friend and just enjoyed the time together for a while. Went to play cards for some hours before returning home. It's been a good day. I was/am thankful to walk into my home, turn on lights, feel warmth, have running water. I've fought for it hard this year. Harder than I ever have. God gets total credit for the fact I haven't collapsed under all the pressure from all the changes I've been through.

I'm happy and I'm thankful tonight and with all the other things I have going on, this is a breath of fresh air I want to enjoy.
