This weekend, I hung out with Glenn and Garland and watched anime and ate cookies and it was glorious. My cell phone stayed in roaming the entire trip, so I was only available by text. No one knew I was gone until the following day.
James, not being so busy, wondered where I was. I answered vaguely and enjoyed the weekend. I then went home Sunday morning where I was dropped off downtown and walked the rest of the way home. It was an enjoyable walk and talking to Stefan for a bit made it more so.
When I got home, I got to talk to and hang out with James shortly after. We spent the afternoon talking, bought a Wii, and met Matt at U-Games (formerly Play-N-Trade). He was delightful to talk to and we got some cool games. Afterward, we went to grab some food and chat about just things in general. I got caught up on the weekend activities (inane) and things going on with him (mostly okay). Some things we laughed about, most we sighed over; people make no sense.
After that, he played the Wii -- couldn't wait to open it -- and made a Mii and wanted me to make a Mii (I did). I talked to the boys on Skype (teamHolla) and cleaned and did laundry (I really shouldn't have washed the clothes with the blanket, but thank God for effective dryers).
Brandon came over while James and I were napping. I really don't know how to feel about that still; I have such mixed feelings sometimes and I always wonder what's going on. I can't be comfortable even though I want to be so much. It sucks. My roommate was supposed to meet him for a run. Whatever the reason, he was not there, so I ran with Brandon at a slowish pace for about 8 minutes. After that, we spoke for a bit and went home.
Whit asked me about next weekend. I'm not sure what's going on. John and Anna want to go to a museum. I think Whit asked them about her b'day stuff. We'll see.
I watched a video with AiAi in it and smiled. I really miss him.
That sums up the weekend.
Today been cool. I'm on my a-game, saving the day as usual. Listened to some gospel music (which made me smile), prayed for a bit about something Miranda mailed me, checked sheets, filled in information on yet another spreadsheet (dear God, when will it end) and made today random spanish day.
Phillip texted me about something he did that got someone mad at him... again. It's just simple sensitivity to people and moments, but he has so little of that talking is pointless, so I've decided not to care. He's like "well, that sucks, but oh well". If that's how you feel about someone who is your best friend, then talking is pointless. I said a little, but not much and I'll leave it that way. He's going to have a hard life if he doesn't learn to observe more and talk/ask less.
Talked to Cedric a bit, he's sick, but ok. What's with everyone getting sick? I'm sniffly because of temperature change, but that's my norm. I'm fine.
Blah. Well, I'm going to go home soon and program... that reminds me: where has Polli been this week? *sigh* People never learn.

You better be planning to mod that Wii and download amazing things for it :P
ReplyDeleteFirst off, how do you mod a Wii, and what happens when you do it?
ReplyDeleteSecondly, as far as this weekend goes, we'll definitely go to Whit's birthday. The museum thing is up in the air because we think Whit is more important.
Glad you had a good weekend, and am looking forward to hanging out next weekend, in whatever way we can.
Love you!
@waz: i don't do hardware; i do software.
ReplyDelete@john: you mess with the hardware or installed system software and that usually allows you access to system functions that control output, appearance and the kinds of games you can play on the system.
@john: also, i'd be happy to hang out this weekend :D
ReplyDeleteYou can do it all via software. :-) I will dig up the guides I plan on using on my friends once I move in with her Wii, lol.
