You know what... the things I do when I'm bored make me mad sometimes.

• I chat, but no one is even online right now, or the other people online are bored and don't know how to start proper convo.
• I youtube/find vids for the most inane stuff sometimes and I spend most of the time going, "why am I watching this?" and the things I don't feel that way about I've watched a million times.
• I lie down.

You know, nothing is wrong with that stuff, but it's not producing anything in my life and if anything, it's time I can't get back that I could have spent reading the queue of books I need to read or working out or walking or anything else that would get me somewhere. This is bullshit and I'm mad at myself for entertaining it because it is no one else's fault but my own.

I'm still pondering how to process other events of the week, but you know what, let's talk about something good.

Last night, I was talking to a friend and giving relationship advice (yes, Barrett -- this is the single guy that gives good, solid relationship advice) as he just had a break up and wasn't handling it well. I just told him the plain truth in front of him. nothing mystical or magical about it.

Later that night, Glenn and Daevid came by and played games for a bit while James and I got ready for a cookout. The cookout was cool. We chatted, ate lots of good, yummy, grilled food and played MvC 3 during which I won ONE game before finally going to bed for the night.

All in all, it was a good night, I suppose.

This week has been crazy. My job wants me to get on twitter and go nuts and start a blog and develop some kind of strategy around social media and all this stuff and I'm like: WOW! They're pushing all of my buttons and in a very, very good way. It's too awesome.

Aside from that, I saw a friend popup online that I've not seen in a very very very long time. We took a little time to catch up. It was cool. I missed him. We cleared the air on a lot of things and we're cool right now. I'm kinda happy about that. Hopefully, I'll hear from him soonish.
